These watches have been described as having indestructibly functional
mechanics which are presented in a timeless, aesthetic design. They are the classic rallye chronographs of Sinn's collection. The design of the dial is intended to throw back to the dashboards of vintage automobiles. Each detail on these watches has been conceived in line with automotive themes - from functional details to the watches' appearance. There is even an indicator to show the wearer how long the watch will continue running with a power reserve gauge styled in the fashion of a fuel gauge. The 956 series watches feature a double tachymeter scale which encircles the dial to allow calculation of current speeds between 30-60km/h (important for vintage car rallies) and up to 60-500km/h for modern cars. But don't be fooled, this watch is not just about classical looks. As well as the charming design features typical of this series, each watch is constructed with the most modern materials and technology. The timepieces are shock proof, offer magnetic field protection, feature scratchproof sapphire crystal and are cased in sturdy stainless steel.
The most classic piece of the 956 series is the Rallye Klassik with an antique cream dial and dark brown leather band with cream-coloured stitching to offset the dial and provide a feeling of old world elegance. However, the look is the only retro aspect about this watch as it is based upon the latest Sinn technology and crafted with modern, robust materials to provide the endurance and reliability you'd expect of a Sinn instrument chronograph.
